Sifu Terence Yip (R)
Sifu Terence Yip runs the Terence Yip
Martial Arts Center in New York City. He keeps the classes small, around 15
students so that he can focus on each student and ensure that get his personal
attention, tuition and advice. Sifu Yip Pui (Terence) has extensive backgrounds
as a Wing Chun Kung Fu practicioner and as a teacher, of both intellectual and
martial persuits. He taught English as a second language in his native country
of Hong Kong for eight years prior to emigrating to the USA. Terrence Yip began
his studies with Master Ip Chun in 1983 and continued until 1988, whereupon he
decided to move to America following his dream of bringing authentic,
traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu to the United States. He has been residing and
teaching in New York City since 1990.
